It is decaffeinated naturally without the use of chemicals, it is very mild and light in color.

This tea comes from a small leaf, adding to its strength and colouring, grown without pesticides or artificial fertilizers. Yields are small due to the conditions necessary for the production of organic tea, hence this tea is somewhat more expensive than other Assams, but well worth the expense.
